Dear Filippo,
Forgive me, I did misunderstand what you were
suggesting. How would it be if you were to create a FoW wiki at wikispaces,
tell us about it, and see whether enough join to make it worth while? A
virtual conference would seem to be a very good idea. I have recently
acquired Skype - it can be downloaded free from skype.com, and it allows you
to talk for free to other Skype users anywhere in the world for as long as
you want. I have wondered about the possibility of holding a FoW Skype
Conference.
We do, of course, already have the FoW Newsletter, and
the two emailing lists, all emails sent to them being available permanently
at the FoW archives at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/FRIENDSOFWISDOM.html
and
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/FRIENDSOFWISDOM-D.html . But it may be that
this wiki facility makes it possible to communicate in ways which emailing
and the Newsletter do not encourage.
Best wishes,
Nick
