Hi Heather
You could advertise the event in our monthly electronic disability newsletter (Disability Studies Association E-Newsletter). You can contact me through my email address as I am the editor of the newsletter with the details of the event. It is distributed every first week of the each month.
Regards
Tsitsi

Dear All,
I'm currently planning an event at the Holocaust Centre on 11th May 2008
which will focus on exploring the 'hidden histories' of the disabled
people who were affected by, or who were killed, during the Holocaust.
This event will coincide with the Nottinghamshire Disabled People’s
Movement dedicating the first rose and plaque in the Centre’s memorial
gardens, to the disabled people persecuted during the Holocaust.
The event will have an open invitation and I am currently investigating
places where it could be advertised. I'd be grateful if anyone could send
me ideas of UK disability press, newsletters, websites or organisations
through which the event might be publicised.
All suggestions welcomed.
Many thanks,
Heather Hollins,
Senior Access and Heritage Officer, The Holocaust Centre,
PhD student, University of Leicester.
