Subject: Digital continuity standards: consultation
As part of our Digital Continuity project, The National Archives has
developed a set of standards to help government departments and the
wider public sector assess commercially available digital preservation
solutions. The standards comprise a high-level description of what a
digital preservation solution should provide, with cross-references to
relevant standards. We are putting these draft standards and
requirements out for public consultation, and would welcome feedback.
The consultation draft and further details are available at:
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/services/publications/default.htm.
The consultation period is 30 days, and consultation will close on 2 May
2008.
Feedback should be sent to [log in to unmask]
Many thanks
Adrian
