This particular one is directed towards general users / hospital sector
sector but still covers the laser safety core of knowledge (and National
Minimum Standard P2.1)

Laser & IPL Safety Course for Cosmetic Operators
This well established and highly successful study day is to be held
again on 9th May 2008. It covers the Core of Knowledge requirements as
well as the National Minimum Standard P2.1 (Care Standards Act 2000)
that is required for Healthcare Commission registration.
The training is aimed at Laser operators (doctors, dentist, nurses,
other support staff) as well as laser protection supervisors.
The course also includes a variety of interesting guest speakers
including those from regulatory bodies. (subject to availability)
The course is to be held in Governors Hall at St Thomas' Hospital,
opposite Westminster.
Cost is £105.00 per person and includes Hot Buffet Lunch, Refreshments,
Course Handbook and Core of Knowledge Certificate.
