I had made my peace, but now it's all flooding back.
In economics, contour plots are common. As
François says, just for fun, make a 3D plot, then
try to view it top down. It will take you a
while to figure out how to do it, but you will
not be able to set the Perspective to zero.
If you get tired of trying, open the attached
file and follow the instructions on the 3D
chart. You cannot make a chart like the one
below it in Excel 2007 because you cannot get the
Perspective to be exactly zero.
The explanation is that Excel 2007 has a
completely different drawing engine and software. Wow.
François, are you saying that add-ins an macro
enabled workbooks will not run in Mac Excel 2008
or just that you cannot develop from a Mac?
More rows and columns most welcome; the rest is
junk. Have you noticed how long it takes to
start and quit? What is it doing????
