The National Collaborating Centre for Women's and Children's Health (NCC-WCH) is a multi-disciplinary, enthusiastic and friendly health services research team. The Centre is commissioned by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) to produce evidence-based clinical and public health guidelines for the National Health Service. The public health guidelines combine published evidence and cost effectiveness modelling to inform practice and decision-making in the NHS and wider community. Our work is highly regarded and we have an international reputation for producing top-quality material based on the best available evidence. The Centre is hosted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and our offices are based on Goodge Street in central London.
