The Division of Population Health is one of the largest and most
prestigious of its kind in Europe. The Research Department of Primary Care
and Population Health of the Division of Population Health wishes to
recruit an experienced statistician to join a multidisciplinary research
group working across the interface between the UCL and the associated MRC
Units. The post holder will capitalise on the opportunities of national
and international research arising from these collaboration. The post will
be based at the UCL Royal Free Hospital Site. The post holder will be
responsible for managing the statistical aspects of specific studies co-
ordinated by the group, including design, data analysis and publication,
and will work in close collaboration with senior researchers in the
department. A limited amount of teaching is also included in the role.
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in statistical science,
experience in analysing data from large datasets and be able to demonstrate
an active research and publications portfolio. The post is available for
two years initially, renewable depending on satisfactory performance and
