**Principal Programmer**
Location: Berkshire

Salary: up to £55k PA

The Principal Programmer is a member of the Statistical Programming team and plays a strategic role in planning and performing all SAS programming required for clinical trial analysis and reporting.  The Principal Programmer has strong statistical programming skills, is able to work independently, provide statistical programming leadership to projects and co-ordinate the programming activities of other staff members.  This position works closely with the Biostatistics, Data Management, and Medical Writing departments on various clinical projects.

**Senior Statistical Programmer**

Location: Berkshire
Status: Permanent + Benefits

Salary: £45,000- £48,000 PA

The Senior SAS Programmer is a member of the Biostatistics team and plays a lead role in performing all SAS programming required for clinical trial analysis and reporting.  This position works closely with the Biostatistics and Data Management departments on various clinical projects.
Leads programming efforts for large complex studies.
This position requires time and resource management skills, and strong SAS programming expertise, and experience with pharmaceutical studies.

Duties include: 
	·	Draft statistical text for study concept documents, protocols (study design, endpoints, sample size, methods for analysis), statistical analysis plans, templates for tables, listings and graphs.
	·	Draft SDF dataset specifications
	·	Assist in the review of key study-related documents produced by other functions (e.g. CRFs, Data Management Plans etc)
	·	Write, test, validate and execute software programs to produce SDF datasets and tables, listings and graphs (mostly statistical analysis outputs, some descriptive outputs) for inclusion within CSRs, ISS / ISE, publications and other communications

Location: North East England

Salary: up to £25k PA
Specifics:  A Research driven company based in the North East is looking for a Graduate in Statistics or Mathematics (or an individual with equivalent experience in SAS Programming) to join their sensory performance testing programme.  Working with world renowned product you will identify and trial statistical techniques with the aim of developing and validating new sensory test methods.
