Salary: Research Associate - £25,134 - £32,796
Senior Research Associate - £33,779 - £40,335

The post is based in the School of Clinical Medical Sciences (Child Health) and the Institute of Health and Society. You will work on epidemiological studies of cancer in children and young adults. You will have experience of analyzing epidemiological data sets, using statistical packages and other software. In particular, you will have experience of analyzing complex research datasets. You will have well developed communication skills and be a team player. Ideally you should have an MSc or PhD in epidemiology or biostatistics. An appropriate publication record is essential. Experience in cancer epidemiology and of obtaining external funding would be highly desirable. The post is available from 1 April 2008 and tenable until 31 March 2009 in the first instance.
