Hi everyone
There will be a SPARC workshop on mobility on 14th May 2008 at the University of Salford. Outdoors - a step too far? Older people and mobility . This is a half day workshop, starting at 12.30pm (for registration). The workshop sessions will finish at about 4.30pm.
I am also giving a talk after the SPARC event that people are welcome to attend from 5 pm to 7 pm, but both are separate events so you can depart after the SPARC event if you need to get home sooner.
Details about the workshop are available on the SPARC web site www.sparc.ac.uk . Please register via the registration page. http://www.sparc.ac.uk/workshops/2008-05-14-a-step-too-far/
Last week there were two SPARC workshops, one on Promoting Independence through New Technology, the other on Research Funding Opportunities. Both were grossly oversubscribed, as indeed is the forthcoming SPARC workshop on Rehabilitation. So if you would like to attend the Mobility workshop please make certain to book early to avoid disappointment.
For details of past and future SPARC events and summaries of the research taking place please see www.sparc.ac.uk <http://www.sparc.ac.uk/>
Regards
Marcus
