Hi Folks,
From time to time there have been postings on this forum about the validation of imported soils/capping materials.
As a matter of interest, has anyone ever validated imported turf? If so, what was the outcome?
Kind Regards

Subject: Hazardous waste assessment
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how the guidance in ‘EA
HWR08, June 2007 How to find out if waste oil and wastes that contain oil
are hazardous’ has affected the waste classification of soils contaminated
with TPH and PAH that are below the Hazardous waste threshold as the
worked example in HWR08 has the potential to classify the soils as
hazardous rather than non-hazardous.
Many Thanks,
Christiaan
