I may be a little hasty in invoking the dreaded "pilot job": of course it
could quite easily be a "single-user pilot job". Due to the horrendous
slowness of the command-line tools I can see why a set of tasks would be
structured to be pulled down by a submitted job. However, I would like
clarification on why jobs run for so long when there doesn't appear to be
work for them to do. I've submitted a ticket to GGUS marked for biomed
attention (#32151).
