Accessing catalogue data in MEFs can be a bit tricky when they are in a
different MEF to the images. What you need to do in these circumstances is
open any catalogues first and then open the image.
So open
/disk01/wsa/ingest/fits/20070913_v1/w20070913_02653_sf_st_cat.fits
using the standard "Open" dialog in the "File" menu (not the
"Data-Servers" menu) and then use the HDU dialog to select the catalogue
extension. Should open a local catalogue window.
Now open the MEF file with the images and select the HDU to display. You
may need to press "Set From Image" and "Search" to get the catalogue area
to match the image.
This isn't a very nice area so I'm planning somekind of upgrade to make
things a little easier.
Peter.
