Hi,
You don't need to compile the mex files for the intel mac as they're
already provided in the distribution. If you really feel the need (and
you might with MATLAB R2007b and Leopard), then just type 'make' in
the /spm5/src directory, then copy the .mexmaci files up to the spm5
directory.
I'd recommend against using a virtualisation like parallels or vmware
considering the amount of math involved - try running natively with
boot camp if you must run MATLAB under windoze on an intel mac.
