Research Support Assistant Level III-NL Grade 13
Salary: $35,288.00 - $44,747.00 + $1,302.00 Location Pay
DUTIES: Learn and perform an extensive array of image analytic techniques in
anatomical MRI scans. Oversee intranet web application that tracks MRI data
(maintain data quality, implement new design features). Assist with MRI
scanning. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: BA or BS (e.g., biology, neuroscience, computer science, and
engineering) strongly preferred.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Experience with PHP strongly desired; experience with
Python a plus. Database programming & working in Unix/Linux platform.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent interpersonal skills. Participation in
medical surveillance required. A MINIMUM OF A THREE-YEAR COMMITMENT to the

Job Family Research Support Technician B
Salary Range $683.10 per week
Job Description: Analyze and control quality of functional MRI images and
behavioral data. Explore analysis techniques with investigators and help
write and maintain analysis programs and methods. Automate analysis
procedures and create necessary user interfaces. Occasionally assist in MRI
scanning.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology,
physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training
and experience. Must have computer programming skills (MATLAB strongly
preferred) and be familiar with various software programs (e.g. Excel, Word,
Access). Must be well-organized. A MINIMUM OF THREE-YEAR COMMITMENT to the
project is required, contingent upon continuous funding.
Preferred Qualifications: BA or BS in computer science, engineering,
neuroscience, or biology preferred.
This position involves contact with patients and/or research subjects.
