Well sometimes, especially when one's partner is involved, one feels a call
to join the rest and say, check out or buy this. For Cindy's sake - you will
find her poetry and other Danish sound poetry at textsound.org.
My goodness, if there is anything to make the hair on the necks of those on
the list stand up to full attention, it is the word "mainstream" , followed
by "camps". We had this discussion in the 1990's, and probably before. All
turns on publishing, whether you want to do a turn on the catwalk and say,
look at me, and whether anyone will put in a bid for your poetry. All old
hat. I can not really take the discussion seriously, because even if we take
sides, with a sad inevitability, we will cross-over, transgress, join, leave
and so on. I think it is a question of writing - that is it. We can of
course throw stones at the establishment - like Natalie Cole being pissed
off with Amy Winehouse. Remember that the capitalists talk of cross-border,
transnational, and without losing the strengthes of the home market. Says
