Dear Colleague,
This email contains information about the Founding Conference of the new
European Association of Health Law which will take place on 10-11 April 2008
at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland.
We cordially invite you to consider registering for this event and becoming
a member of the Association. Please also forward this message to any other
colleagues who might be interested in attending or joining the EAHL.
The focus of the conference is The Future of Health Law in Europe with
eminent speakers from across Europe.
You can find out more information about the Association here:

The purpose of the conference is two-fold:
(1) To provide a forum to explore the purposes of the European Association
of Health Law (EAHL) and to ensure that participants are fully involved with
the deliberative process. The Constitution will be approved at this meeting
and the necessary office-bearers confirmed;
(2) to engage in high-level academic discussion about The Future of Health
Law in Europe as a platform for future work of the Association. A particular
focus for the conference will be the encouragement and promotion of young
scholars working in health law.
Young scholars are encouraged to present a poster at the event and you can
find out more information here:

We look forward to welcoming you in Edinburgh in April!
