Dear Diane,
thank you for your interest, the reason for my choice was that this was one way of elucidating experience of support that may be unfettered by guidelines and protocols, hope this answers your question.

Kind Regards,

Jane.

Welcome Jane.

Interested as to why just independent midwives and why not NHS midwives
too?

Diane

Dear all,
I would like to introduce myself as a novice researcher. I am in the
throws of undertaking a phenomenological study of independent midwives
experiences of supporting women's physiological third stages during a
home birth, I look forward to joining the discussion group.

Kind Regards,

Jane.
