We are looking for an enthusiastic person to lead on maximising access to
information about Suffolk's rich heritage collections, including archives,
local studies, archaeology and museums. A priority will be to promote and
manage the use of ICT for collections management in the record offices and
museums of Suffolk and to develop the relaunched public collections
website, Suffolk Heritage Direct.
You will have:
* a degree or equivalent qualification in a heritage subject
* a sound knowledge of professional cataloguing and metadata standards
* proven achievement in obtaining external funding for heritage
organisations
* demonstrable project management and leadership skills
* first class ICT skills relating to information and database management.
