Course Outline
Many organisations with a strong commitment to Microsoft are moving to
implement MOSS07 as a general-purpose intranet/collaboration/document
management application, either as an upgrade to SharePoint Server 2003 or as
a new application. Intranet and web managers are increasingly finding
themselves in the position of being told by IT Departments that they can
either throw away their current CMS and use MOSS07 or when considering an
upgrade to a current CMS then MOSS07 is the best solution.
The objective of this seminar is to outline, in non-technical terms, the
benefits and challenges of MOSS07 implementations so that intranet and web
managers are better prepared to discuss these with their colleagues in the
IT department.
Keynote speaker
The Keynote speaker will be Janus Boye (http://eng.jboye.dk/) who is the
European authority on portal software and on MOSS07.
