Cheers Greig, I will no longer worry Peter about installing new rpms.
Seem to still fail when trying to copy from RAL CASTOR to LANCS dCache
using lcg-cp
lcg-cp --vo atlas -v -T srmv2
srm://srm-atlas.gridpp.rl.ac.uk/castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/stripInput/bgedsrm2test-2
srm://fal-pygrid-20.lancs.ac.uk:8443/pnfs/lancs.ac.uk/data/atlas/bged/srm2fromral-1
any useful debug info with lcg-cp would be nice!!!
