1: RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP FOR ANGLO-GERMAN CULTURAL RELATIONS OR GERMAN
INTELLECTUAL HISTORY
The School of Languages, Linguistics and Film is pleased to announce that we
have 1 Queen Mary Research Studentship open to a candidate applying
to research in one of the following fields: Anglo-German Cultural Relations
or German Intellectual History.
Applicants should have (or expect to have at the end of 2007-08) an MA or
equivalent qualification. To be eligible, you need to apply for a full-time
research programme in one of the above fields. The Graduate School

Prospective students are advised to consult a potential supervisor before
submitting a formal application. Details of staff research interests are

The completed application form, two academic references, a substantial piece
of written work (about 5,000 words in English) and a 300-500 word thesis
proposal should reach the Admissions & Recruitment Office, at Queen Mary,
before FRIDAY 22 FEBRUARY 2008.
Applicants should state their interest in being considered for a studentship
in the space provided on the application form. There is no separate
studentship application form.
Applicants for a studentship are also required to apply to the AHRC, if
