MA PROGRAMME IN ANGLO-GERMAN CULTURAL RELATIONS
The Centre for Anglo-German Cultural Relations is currently accepting
applications for the 2008-9 intake of its MA Programme in Anglo-German
Cultural Relations.
For the 2008 session, there is ONE WESTFIELD TRUST BURSARY available for
students (UK, EU or Overseas) wishing to take the MA. This bursary will
cover tuition fees at the home rate (currently £3,250) and are to be awarded
by the summer of 2008.

ABOUT THE MA PROGRAMME IN ANGLO-GERMAN CULTURAL RELATIONS
The MA in Anglo-German Cultural Relations is the first of its kind in the UK
and is an integral part of the Centre for Anglo-German Cultural Relations at
Queen Mary. The programme, which takes place over two semesters, is on
offer as both a full-time and part-time option. The programme consists of a
Core Course, Theory and Practice of Anglo-German Cultural Transfers, plus a
choice of two of the four optional modules, which include: Anglo-German
Travel Writing; In Pursuit of Prejudice? Mutual Perceptions of Identity;
Thinking Translation; Anglo-German Aesthetics in the “Long” Eighteenth
Century. Students will also complete a dissertation. Coursework and
disseration my be written in either English or German.
