The files should be named bvecs and bvals not bvecs.txt. If that doesn't
fix the issue, perhaps you could paste in the output of ls from the
directory you are trying to run FDT from.
Peace,
Matt.

Subject: [FSL] DTIFIT and bedpostx_datacheck question
I am new to using FSL for DTI, so may be missing something relatively
simple...
I am trying to get the eigenvalues out of a set of diffusion tensor data, so
initially ran dtifit from the
gui. I get an error about the bvecs and bvals saying it could not open the
matrix files.
then I went to the command line and ran bedpostx_datacheck and messages
saying:
No such file or directory
and a Runtime error presumably because its not finding the text files with
the diffusion encodings
and the b-values.
I've double checked both of my text files to make sure that I don't have
extra carriage returns, spaces
etc and its all in the same folder...
any suggestions?
