You could try looking at the work of David Pearce who tried to do the
economic cost-benefit calculations for elephant conservation in Africa as I
recall.
The index of Sustainable Economic Welfare tries to put together many
environmental and other impacts.
If you don't like economic measures at all, you will have to fall back on
things like ecological footprints.
