Adrian,
Yes, face-to-face is optimal. Re online seminars/workshops: I have
participated in several but am ignorant of the technology. It must not be
very sophisticated if I was able to access it. There was audio for the
speakers and I think listeners asked questions, commented online. Something
like that. It was actually rather effective at spanning the miles.

I envisage holding a series of seminars at UK locations, but exactly
where would need to be decided. I've never participated in an on-line
seminar - any good? I realise holding an event in a specific location
excludes many people, but for me the opportuity to meet face to face
makes it worthwhile. The last seminar series I took part in was held
alternately at different Universities - one in the UK Midlands and one
in London. A good model, I thought.
Cheers!
