Research Workshop: Networks in Society and the Economy
Spaces of Economy and Society Research Cluster, University of Cambridge
Wednesday, 30th April 2008
The SES Cluster Research Workshop, entering its 5th year, provides a
relaxed, supportive, yet academically relevant atmosphere for academics and
postgraduate geographers from all aspects of the discipline to present
their research and to discuss ideas.
The event programme has now been set and includes prominent academics in
the fields of social and economic geography (see attached doc).
Presentations have been arranged into four themed sessions that will run
throughout the day. The workshop mixes current working projects with
postgraduate research in order to highlight key issues in our field. We
would like to encourage postgraduates at any stage in their research to
attend, network and contribute their thoughts in discussions.
Included in the days presentations is a free lunch and concluding wine
reception.
