Yes indeed, this is the case.
I know everyone is trying to be helpful in passing on these warnings,
but occasionally these messages result in people deleting important
files when there is no need. Ther have even been occasions when these
messages are themselves virus carriers!
PLEASE check before broadcasting - use your anti-virus software's web
site, or even Google. Our own AV software has an excellent site for
such things - go to www.f-secure.com.
