Research Assistant in Statistics
(10 months post)
This post is to support research in the applications of statistics
within an interdisciplinary project on the assessment of cleft lip
and palate children, in particular taking responsibility for the
co-ordination of data collection and playing a central role in the
modelling, analysis and reporting of the research work.
A good honours degree and PhD in Statistics or a strongly related
subject is essential. Some experience of collaboration with other
scientists on the use of statistical methods in applied research
is also required.
Salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 6,
£23,692 - £26,666 per annum. The post is available immediately and
is for 10 months.
