RESEARCH ASSOCIATES Ref: RA461 & Ref: RA462
£27,466 to £32,796 per annum
We are pleased to invite applications for two
fixed-term full time Research Associate posts to
work on newly funded projects requiring health economics involvement.
Post 1: Ref RA461 This post is for a fixed-term
of 24 months and the postholder will be working
on health economic aspects of two diabetes
projects, one of which is funded by Diabetes UK
and the other by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
Post 2: Ref RA462 This post is for a fixed-term
of 21 months and is part funded by the Research
Councils' New Dynamics of Ageing programme and is
to develop and update a dynamic microsimulation
model of long-term care charging and also
contribute to other Health Economics research projects.
The successful candidates must possess a good
first degree in related subject areas and should
have high-level skills in manipulating and
analysing complex large-scale data. Good verbal
and written skills are essential as well as
ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Both posts are available from 01 April 2008. The
starting salary will be £27,466 per annum rising
to £28,290 per annum in May 2008.
