Applications are invited for the new full time post of Health Services
Researcher for the inequalities in infant mortality research programme, an
integrated series of studies to strengthen the evidence base about
interventions to reduce infant mortality. The project is funded by the
Department of Health.
This post will start as soon as possible for 24 months and is based in the
National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU) at the University of Oxford. As
the Researcher you will assist the Project Co-ordinator in carrying out a
series of systematic reviews and model the likely effects of interventions
and risk factor reductions on infant mortality rates. Along with a
postgraduate degree in health science or social sciences you will have
extensive experience of working on health related research projects.
