Hasn't she heard of Payment by Results? Any fule kno that that Trusts
have a perverse incentive to increase admissions so they get more
money. I bet they are all less than 24 hour admissions ie not really
admissions at all just waiting periods of longer than 4 hours for test
results / observations / initiation of treatment.
Anyway this is an old myth. What is bringing it out for an airing now?
Let me guess, it couldn't be anything to do with the government-led spin
on GP extended hours could it?You can either rebut or ignore it but
don't blame yourself or waste energy. No doubt there is more of the same
to come.
