Hi,
We've toyed with this idea before, but it seems even more relevant now.
I'm sure I - or a group of us - could gain funding for a seminar series
on embodiment. But I suggest the first question before proceeding is
what topics would be of interest? I know from prevous disucussion that
there is interest in the general principle, but let's get more concrete:
what specific area(s)/topic(s) within embodiement would be of interest
to you? Assuming we can get some kind of consensus on 4 or 5, I/we can
take this idea forward.
I would be especially interested in seminars on:
extended cognition, embodiment and religious practice, embodied
methodologies, applying Gendlin's philosophy to embodiment reseach.
Please post your suggestions/interests to the list. Ideally I'm looking
for topics we could usefully cover in a one day seminar with 3 or 4
speakers plus discussion time. Having made that proviso, I'm not
entirely sure my suggestions are tight enough, but we can discuss that!
Best wishes,
Adrian
