I would suggest that there is very little on the market, if anything, that
pushes all those buttons.
It was raised at the BS8300 review meeting recently. I have to say, as I
said there, I largely ignore it, the difference even powder coated makes is
negligible. Timber is the best solution but is open to vandalism and also it
has been known for blades to be pushed into the timber and caused injury!
The ones covered in a plastic, provide less thermal conductivity but again
get vandalised very easily.
I think my answer would be no details at all.
Doesn't really help much, sorry.

Dear All
Would anyone have details of a company that produce 'warm to touch'
handrails that would be suitable and robust enough to use in outside,
public areas like railway stations, public stairs etc. So not only warm
to touch, but may get abused, subject to all weather conditions and need
to be available in all colours? The handrailing itself will need to be
of a high 'architectural' standard not just looking like keyclamp!
Any pictures where this is fitted would also be welcome as I need to
convince some LA designers that this will be better than the bright
stainless steel that they want to use!
Thanks
Kind Regards
Justin Ryan
