Dear Samantha,
Building Regulations AD Part M: 2004, M1/M3 5.17 indicates that "in large
building Complexes or large sports centre, there should be one wheelchair
accessible unisex toilet capable of including an adult changing table"
BS8300:2001 will give some extra detail on this....
Mencap's Changing Places campaign would certainly support provision of such
facilities as offering far more opportunities for all to take part in
sporting activity. http://www.changing-places.org/index.asp
Good luck
Regards
Sue

Subject: Changing bed in swimming pool changing rooms
Can anyone tell me the legal position on providing or not providing
changing beds for disabled people in public swimming pools?
I'm getting conflicting advice....
Many thanks
