Hi Steve and Donna. Looks really interesting. Could you post it here (if you
feel comfortable doing so)? Lots of aacorners won't be able to download it.
And congratulations! D

Hi all,
I hate to blow my own horn, but I would like to point out that Donna Ladkin
and I have an upcoming (it will probably appear in print in about a year)
article in the Academy of Management Learning and Education that may be of
interest:
UNDERSTANDING ARTS-BASED METHODS IN MANAGERIAL DEVELOPMENT
Authors: Steven S Taylor, Donna Ladkin
Abstract: With the rise of the use of arts-based methods in
organizational development and change, scholars have started to inquire into
how and why these methods work. This paper identifies four conceptual motors
that are particular to the way in which arts-based methods contribute to the
development of individual organization managers and leaders: through the
transference of artistic skills, through projective techniques, through the
evocation of OEessenceš and through the making process itself. We illustrate
these motors in detail with two case examples and then discuss the
implications for designing the use of arts-based methods for managerial and
leadership development.
