Hi,
I have done a lot of work on tinned vessels in the Aegean Late Bronze
Age (mainly c. 1400-1250). If this interests you, please contact me
off line and I can give you references. I remember also seeing some
tinned Chinese vases in Wasington many years ago, but don't remember
what they looked like or how od they were--maybe the same?
Good luck,
Carole G.
