I belatedly realised what Costas was referring to. On my profile it said:
"Educator, here for work.
I file Abuse Reports on people who send in-world spam. I'm not sure
how much good it does, but hopefully they get a boot now and again
from the Lindens."
This was put there after I started receiving spam for exotic night
clubs, etc. Unchecked, spam in SL has the potential to become every
bit as bad a problem as it is outside of SL. Perhaps people on this
list have been spared, but I have not.
I will continue to file Abuse reports, but have modified the text on
my profile. It now reads:
"Educator, here for work.
Please do not send irrelevant spam, as I may file an Abuse Report."
I apologise if something written in a moment of frustration gave offense.
