That was because of a problem that we overlooked in the latest bunch of
updates. We'd tested various procedures with .img and .hdr files, but not
with the .nii images. If you download and install the updates again, then
the problem should be fixed. Alternatively, you could put the attached file
into your spm5/@nifti/private/ directory (replacing the version from the last
updates).
