Why would you need to keep these at all ?
In Wales we have had a similar scheme for some time. We verify age and
residence qualifications by examining appropriate documents produced,
but these are then returned (to applicant in person) or posted back. Our
record is the officers 'check' mark that verification was produced.

Under the new Concessionary Travel scheme that is about to be
implemented bus passes will be issued. Supporting documentation is
required for proof of identity and eligibility. My question is - after
the evidence has been reviewed and the pass issued - what should happen
to the evidence, how long should it be kept for?
