If anything doesn't fit, it's "avenues." "Boulevard" suggests high
style, the world of Baron Hausmann, a broad and beautiful street that
evokes Western Civ 101 far more than "avenue," which could be anything.
So here is this mad dance, this reversion toward life as a Maenad,
taking place in a place of decorum.
