Thanks Andrew, Sheila, & Max. We were out yesterday, taking the car
after plugging in the heater beforehand, to go hear a leading
economist talk about 'the new retirement.' We certainly only wanted to
be outside for a minute or so at a time, but people do cope, although
there are lots of accidents on the roads, etc. Buses were about half
an hour behind schedules.
And, in PEI, where it's a lot warmer but ice covered the province,
most of the power liens are down, trees broken, etc.
And China does, indeed, look bad.
