Subject: Summative Assessment Teaching Quality Policies
Dear Colleagues,
I would very much appreciate any information that you
may be able to provide about any policies that you may
be aware of for either,o,r both of the following
queries:
1. Higher Policies for the make-up of the Assessors
panel that will have the responsibility for assessing
the Teaching Portfolios for summative purposes. Any
policies that you may be aware of, either nationally
or locally at your own sites of practice, that could
inform bext-practices for the make-up of such panels
would be very welcome.
2. National and, or, local redress policies/procedures
for candidates who wish to query the judgement that
was passed by the Bard/Panel of Assessors on their
respective applications for promotion via Teaching
Effectiveness Portfolios.
Thanking you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Timothy Murphy
