As per all the other advice, HIV not an issue if not performing EPPs.
However, it should still be declared on the HQ as a medical condition
and that should be assessed as per all other long term chronic
conditions.
Useful to gain a baseline regarding the HIV condition, medication, any
symptoms, illnesses, particularly relevant to affecting work ability.
They may not have had OH input before regarding HIV and may find it
useful to be aware of employment issues regarding the HIV - perhaps not
declaring it shows fear of OH and assuming non employment because of it.
This could be correctly by OH and appropriate documents/ references
given to the applicant for the future.
Shared care between her HIV medical service and OH would be a good
approach for any future work health issues.

I agree with all advice so far. No issue as not EPP. The only
consideration I feel would be due to working in Mental Health, Learning
disabilities she could be at risk of being bitten/ scratched by clients.
She needs to be made aware that she would then be a 'source' of a blood
borne virus and following her NMC code and professional accountability
she would then have to advise the clients Dr so they can do a risk
assessment.
