Hi Jackie,
As you know I am in the same position as yourself,The closing date for
submission is Dec 08.I have decided not to
go ahead.Also to add insult to injury the register will say transfer to
part 3 by migration of portfolio.I am being made redundant in June.I will
now have to explain my position to prospective employers.The NMC have
informed me that I cannot call myself a specialist practioner.

The NMC failed to record my qualification and because the 5 year timescale
had elapsed – I had provided payment too which they refunded me - I also
have to apply for this via portfolio – even though it was their mistake!
I’m really angry – thinking of the work I will need to do - I have done
nothing about it as I have been doing the day job – I have not got the time
or inclination to do this at the moment.
