Hi,
Within my Trust our OH physicians do carry out home visits if the
client has a significant health issue which makes it difficult to attend
the department. If the client is female the physician has an escort
(nurse or member of the admin team, also female) to accompany him. I'm
not aware of any legal implications of not endorsing home visits but by
doing a home visit it can often speed the process up, as it negates the
need for the client to be well enough to travel to the OH department.

Dear list
What is your opinion on the Occupational Health Physician visiting
patients
at their home? Is there any legal implications if a department refuses
to
endorse home visits?
