Simon and Hallsworth Research Fellowships
The Simon and Hallsworth Fellowship Schemes use generous endowments to
appoint a number of Research Fellows each year in the Social Sciences and
Political Economy. Research support for the Social Sciences is provided
principally, though not exclusively, by the Faculty of Humanities, the
largest Faculty in the University.
Please note that these Fellowships are not intended to support postgraduate
students.

Hallsworth Research Fellowships

Three posts in Political Economy, including Commerce and Public
Administration, tenable for up to three years from 1 September 2008 and
open to excellent scholars who have already demonstrated a potential for
research in relevant subject areas. You will receive a generous allowance
for research expenses.

£27,466 - £33,780 p.a. or £34,793 - £ 42,791 p.a. according to

to 3 years from 1 September 2008. These fellowships are intended for
outstanding researchers who have completed a doctoral degree or research to
an equivalent standard. A record of research and publications or

You will receive research expenses of up to £1000 pa.
