The Media, Information and Communications subject area in the department
of Applied Social Sciences at London Metropolitan University are urgently
seeking an hourly paid lecturer to assist on a module in Digital Imaging.
The module takes digital imaging out of the narrow context of the
preparation of images for multimedia and places it within the wider
context of the history of image making in illustration, graphic design,
photography and fine art. The programme provides support for the creation
of a series of images that convey a particular idea developed by the
student. The module introduces a range of key techniques for originating
and developing images using digital manipulation and discusses the
technical issues relating to the media formats in which the students will
present their image sequence.
Interested candidates should send a copy of their CV by email to the
course leader, Che-Guevara John: [log in to unmask]
