Hi Jim,
We have now moved to using Google Analytics for gathering stats and
reporting to DCMS.
Best wishes,

Subject: Measuring web site visits
Happy New Year everyone!
Apologies for asking, again, a question that's been done to death here
before. I've been asked what the current consensus is on measuring web
site visits, for the purpose of reporting figures to DCMS and so on.
How many people use log analysis software? If so, which software
packages? Is anyone using cookie based user-tracking, like Google
Analytics, to measure visitor figures to their sites? If you are using
Google, do you use those figures for the purpose of meeting targets?
Thanks in advance
Jim
