I agree with you. Even though the Mature Leaning course is embedded in a
formal structured course at London IOE (facilitated by Anita Pincas who
started this list), those of us participating in it are reflecting and
reporting on our own experiences as mature learners (first hand) as well
as bringing to the table the anecdotes we obtained first hand from other
older learners that we have worked with..
Much of the rigorous qualitative research works from the same principle of
data generated from conversations/interviews with e.g. individuals central
to whatever the field of investiation is.
